Santa Visits Team VP

A few of the VP girls and some local little ones made Santa's special list, so he came to visit and spread some holiday cheer amongst the studio!

Family Memories

The holiday season is the one time each year where families get together on several occassions to catch up, eat good food, and all be together. The little ones are out of school, and the college kids leave all of their friends to travel miles and miles to come home; whether it's on a plane or in the car, to spend some quality time with loved ones. If they're lucky, they'll sneak in a few loads of laundry and get a few really good home cooked meals.

This past September, Nancy Gilbert's oldest daughter, Sarah, went away to UCSB for her first semester. Her mom, Nancy, had gotten a few family portraits taken at Visual Photography while she was home in San Diego where they were just recently delivered. VP's owners, Daniel & Stacey Canfield ventured over to find the perfect spot to hang them...

Now, Nancy and her family are able to see they're loved one everday while she's away at school, and its also shared amongst their friends and family that come into their home.

An Visual Employee from PHS!

Hey All!

This is Katie, a senior at Poway High School and an employee at Visual Photography. I've worked here for several years now, and I'm so happy to finally be a senior! Naturally, I had my senior pictures taken here, both in studio and on location at Old Poway Park, and I'm sooo happy with the results! (In fact, I'm willing to share a few!) This year, the yearbooks for all 4 PUSD high schools are going to be really cool and completely UniQuE, because we seniors can put in whatever kind of shot we want for our yearbook pose; mine is from Old Poway Park.

Hopefully everyone was photographed in time for the yearbook deadline, and I hope you plan to order some of your gorgeous pictures to send to all those crAzy friends and relatives! My mom is already handing out wallet-size pictures of me... great. Come VISIT ME in the studio and I'll help you through your order!

OSU Beavers Update

Congrats for their win over UCLA this past Saturday! Check out a few candids of Sean Canfield #5 and his proud parents!

Halloween Haunts VP!

We had quite an array of characters come through this Halloween weekend to get photographed for our Costume Craze Theme Day including a baby turtle, a Pink Lady from Grease, Snow White, an Astronaut, a few Pirates, and an entire family from Hogwarts including Harry Potter himself. Recognize these friendly faces...?

Class of 2010 Homecoming!

San Diego definitely knows how to get down on the dance floor! We loved the matching outfits, crazy colors, and party atmosphere! Team VP had a blast photographing San Pasqual, Rancho Bernardo, Poway, Westview, Mission Hills, and Escondido High Schools' Homecomings. Next up is Winter Formal and then Prom...

Team VP's F.A.C.E. Students are making an appearance in a few of your local newspapers! F.A.C.E. stands for Fraternity of Academic and Civic Excellence, and is our own special program in which we photograph the top 30 students with the highest GPA's within the senior classes from Mt. Carmel, Poway, Rancho Bernardo, and Westview High Schools.

Mt. Carmel and Westview F.A.C.E. students can be found in the Sun Signature Newspaper.

Rancho Bernardo F.A.C.E. students can be found in the RB News Journal, and Poway F.A.C.E. students can be found in the Poway Chieftan Newspaper.

IN CASE YOU DIDN'T KNOW...

Daniel & Stacey Canfield, the owners of Visual Photography, are parents of the Oregon State starting Quarterback Sean Canfield. They travel every weekend for 11 straight weeks to watch Sean play in the Pac10 football games during his last year there. Check him out for yourself...

Congrats Beavs for their latest win at Arizona State last Saturday, winning 28-17! Their record so far is 3-2 but it's still early in the season. Wish them luck as they will play Stanford in Corvallis this coming Saturday, October 10th at 4 P.M.

Team VP Kicks It Off at the Wave House!

Most of you only see us at the studio or talk to us on the phone.  Little did you know...we actually do get out and have tons of fun! Our night at the Wave House included a Team VP dinner, the Vizzy Awards Ceremony, and some Roller Coaster action. Here are some pics to prove it!
